Our goal is to provide diagnostic and treatment excellence.

We treat each patient as a person, providing individualized, compassionate care. We work very hard to make sure that your office visit and/or surgical experience will be informative and as pleasant as possible.

Appointments

All patients will initially be given an appointment for an examination/consultation. At this visit, Dr. Ambrookian will review your medical history, perform an examination, take x-rays (if necessary) and discuss your diagnosis and treatment options. The nature of your surgical procedure (if surgery is required), associated risks and complications and anesthesia options will be discussed in detail. A surgery appointment may then be scheduled. We will verify your estimated insurance benefits and provide this information to you prior to treatment/surgery, so that you will have an idea of your financial responsibility. Depending on your medical condition and other factors, minor treatment/surgery may be performed at this initial visit. If you are planning a visit to my office please visit the Patient Registration page for more information before your appointment.

Insurance

We participate in most medical, dental insurance and managed care programs. Please have your medical and dental insurance information available when you call to schedule your appointment. Some managed care plans require a referral from the patient's primary care physician (PCP) prior to examination and/or treatment by a specialist, in order for insurance benefits to be paid. Many insurance plans do not cover routine or initial examinations. consultations or place limitations on the number allowed per year. Please check with your phyician or insurance company to see if a referral is required. It is the patient's responsibility to obtain this referral and we encourage you to know your insurance benefits and rules.

Payment

If your treatment/surgery is covered by verifiable medical and/or dental insurance, we will complete and submit your claim as a courtesy to you. Depending upon your benefits, a partial payment may be required at the time of treatment. If you do not have insurance or we are unable to verify your insurance, payment is required at the time services are renderd. Dr. Ambrookian will give you an estimate of the treatment/surgical fee after your examination and the treatment plan is finalized. Payment can be made by cash, personal check, Mastercard or Visa.
