Dr. Henry Ambrookian focuses on providing diagnostic and treatment excellence, while emphasizing patient education and informed decision making.

He strives to provide individualized, compassionate care and make each patient’s office visit
and surgical experience informative and as pleasant as possible.

Dr. Ambrookian received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry. He completed a General Practice Residency at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, Wood (Milwaukee), Wisconsin and then an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at The New York Medical College at Metropolitan Hospital Center. Having developed an interest in facial deformities, he completed a Fellowship in Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) and Orthognathic (facial and jaw reconstructive) Surgery at the Orofacial Pain and Dentofacial Deformities Center and Saint Mary’s Health Center in Saint Louis, Missouri.

He is an Adjunct Clinical Professor, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Marquette University School of Dentistry and teaches clinical oral surgery to third and fourth year dental students. Dr. Ambrookian has been selected one of America’s Top Dentists eight times by the Consumers’ Research Council of America. In December, 2012, he was selected one of the top 5% of dentists (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons) in Milwaukee by M Milwaukee’s Lifestlye Magazine. He was the team oral surgeon for the Milwaukee Admirals Professional Hockey team for over 15 years.

He is a Fellow in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon ( National Dental Honor Society), the Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Greater Milwaukee Dental Association and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology

Dr. Ambrookian and his wife have three daughters. He enjoys traveling, music and all athletics.
